Since 1996 Teccon has been active in the land surveying sector of the Belgian Railways.
Underneath you can find a list with realised projects for which we were responsible with regard to land surveying activities as far as the set up activities, location descriptions, levelling, volume calculations of the soil replacement, the creation of axis-built plans & location counselling were concerned.
Based on the supplied location plans and longitudinal profiles, specific x, y, and z points (start, end, in between points in slope, in vertical transfer curves, ...) are plotted on the site, in consultation with a supervisor of the Belgian Railways and the constructor.
Since recently we use, among others, Leica® RoadRunner for plotting these points.
Apart from plotting rails all accessories such as pipes for compressed air and water, kathena poles, anchors, sewage systems, footways, etc… are also plotted.
